New Headbands

I've been working on some new items and headbands is one of them. I only have 2 ready in the infant/toddler size but am working on some more including a purple and white polka dot one and a zebra print.

I feel bad that I have to use my boys as models. Hopefully they don't develope a complex over this! I saw some styrofoam heads at Hobby Lobby. I may have to pick one up if I can find a kids sized one too.

I haven't photographed the adult headbands yet but will try to do that today. They are the same as the kids but no flower, and are reversible.

So what do you think?

Skinny Button Flower Headbands

I just listed some new skinny headbands.

Aren't they cute?

I can make them in sizes premie to adult. The ones shown are all 0-6 months. I use scrap fabric and a my random assortment of buttons, so chances are no 2 will ever be exactly alike.

I got woken up really early yesterday (just before 4am) and couldn't get back to sleep. So I decided that I would try my hand at some really cute flowers I had been picturing in my mind.

I think they turned out really cute and I can't wait to see them on some adorable little girl!

Each flower is hand crafted from satin frabric. The pink even has little specs of glitter in it. In the center 1-3 pearls are sewn to the flower. The first 2 headbands pictures also have a couple pieces of white shimmer tulle added for some flare. Next I'm going to make some with feathers!

I can't decided which one is my favorite. Which is yours?

Stretchy Nylon Headbands with interchangable flowers

I have had so much fun making these headbands! I don't have any little girls of my own, (which is why Mr. Teddy Bear is modeling) but I LOVE making cutsie girly things! These headbands, though time consuming have brought me much joy. As I hand sewed each flower I was filled with anticipation at what the final product would look like. I must say, I am very pleased with each and every one!
