back in action

Okay, things are finally starting to.....well not slow down. But I'm not working on a show or prepping for stocking up the shop at the moment. You know, I'm just hemming and sewing a black out liner to 12 curtains for my brother and making Christmas gifts for everyone in our family. So though things are still crazy, I wanted to make sure and get some items back in my shop before Christmas. Today I listed several hats and cowls that are just beautiful (if I do say so myself). Time Out Cowl

Remember when I told you here about the Crochet Along I am participating in over here? Well the time has finally come to show off our work. I'm very pleased with they way my cowl turned out, though it is a bit heavy.

 But I did discover that this cowl is multi functional...

 Give it one twist and pull it up over your head and you have a hood to protect you from the cold wind!

The Crochet Along over at Maybe Matilda is underway! We've started the pattern, but it's not too late to join in!
I've actually already finished my project and thought I'd share. I LOVE the yarn I used (Lion Brand Hometown USA in San Diego Navy) and how quickly the cowl worked up.
