Time Out Cowl

Remember when I told you here about the Crochet Along I am participating in over here? Well the time has finally come to show off our work. I'm very pleased with they way my cowl turned out, though it is a bit heavy.

 But I did discover that this cowl is multi functional...

 Give it one twist and pull it up over your head and you have a hood to protect you from the cold wind!

The Crochet Along over at Maybe Matilda is underway! We've started the pattern, but it's not too late to join in!
I've actually already finished my project and thought I'd share. I LOVE the yarn I used (Lion Brand Hometown USA in San Diego Navy) and how quickly the cowl worked up.

I don't have it listed in my Etsy shop (I have a craft fair in less than 2 weeks) but the cost is $35.00 (plus $8.00 shipping in the US) If interested you can e-mail me our PayPal address and snag it before it sells at the craft fair!

girly flower crochet hat

I made this hat the other day...

Now if only I had an adorable little girl to model it! I need to dig out my "Tiffany" doll. She was my favorite doll growing up and looks life-like. I think she would be the perfect model.

This hat can be made in sizes 0-3months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 2-4T,  young child and adult. Basically any size :) I can also make it in different colors. Just ask!
