change of plans
I know I've been horrible about keeping the blog updated. Shame shame. I've found that keeping up with 2 blogs isn't easy, I have a hard enough time finding time to post on 1 blog! So for now, I will only be updating my main blog (www.berry-blessed.blogspot.com) I will be posting pictures of new products and letting you know where you can find them. For the time being my shop is down. After it flooded about a month ago I decided to take a break from it and focus on making pruducts for a local boutique. With 3 kids at home I was barely staying afloat trying to stock my online shop, and keep products in the store while trying to stock up for a craft fair. This mama had to cut back to keep from going insane. I hope you'll follow along on my other blog. It's way more fun anyhow :)

cupcakes anyone?
I've seen versions of this hat before and decided to try my hand at it.
I think it turned out pretty cute. Next time I want to use the pink speckled yarn to look like sprinkles.

Kid's Aprons
For Christmas I made my mom and mother in law an apron and had a lot of fun doing it. I decided that I'm going to make some for my shop (actually I might be opening up a new shop for this, but more on that later) and wanted to make some kids sized aprons as well.
I have a ton of fabric set aside for these and a few even cut out already.
What do you think?
This is the only one I have completed so far (my son wants to keep it for himself to bake cookies in). Instead of having a tie at the neck I used one strap and have 2 metal rings on the oposite side to thread the strap through. My hope is that this will be easier for kids since most likely they won't be able to tie yet. The waist is still a tie but the top strap could then be adjusted and just slipped off.

New Headbands
I've been working on some new items and headbands is one of them. I only have 2 ready in the infant/toddler size but am working on some more including a purple and white polka dot one and a zebra print.
I feel bad that I have to use my boys as models. Hopefully they don't develope a complex over this! I saw some styrofoam heads at Hobby Lobby. I may have to pick one up if I can find a kids sized one too.
I haven't photographed the adult headbands yet but will try to do that today. They are the same as the kids but no flower, and are reversible.

back in action
Okay, things are finally starting to.....well not slow down. But I'm not working on a show or prepping for stocking up the shop at the moment. You know, I'm just hemming and sewing a black out liner to 12 curtains for my brother and making Christmas gifts for everyone in our family. So though things are still crazy, I wanted to make sure and get some items back in my shop before Christmas. Today I listed several hats and cowls that are just beautiful (if I do say so myself). Check it out! And don't forget to use coupon code CYBERMONDAY to receive free shipping through tomorrow! Happy shopping!

Healthy Baby
I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself! A few weeks ago I talked to a local boutique about selling some of my hand made items. The owner was super sweet and said she'd love to have some of my items in her shop! Today I dropped off hats, headbands, bracelets and blankies at Healthy Baby Boutique! I'm so excited and pray that it goes well.
Wish me luck!
